About Us

Our Background

What began with two men cooking eighty hot dogs in the back of a pickup truck in 2018, grew to over 20 volunteers distributing and delivering over one million meals to people in Ripley Park, Tent City and the unsheltered population. Bread of Life is creatively utilizing ongoing efforts to bring economic and social transformation to the Ripley Park area by helping provide meals, newer furniture, and clothes, while establishing relationships with the residents. We have also been providing them with nutritional needs and practical support on a weekly basis.

Donors provided funds each year providing funds to help with back-to-school supplies, clothes, and Christmas presents for the children living in the Timberlee Apartments.

Every third Saturday, Bread of Life hosts a mobile food drop with Harvesters, at the Community Center at Ripley Park (235 SE Lime Street). From several pallets of food, we provide families with fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, and a variety of other foods.

Our Mission

Bread of Life (BOL) in Collaboration with the National Fellowship of Born-Again Pentecostal Churches of Uganda (NFBPC) has a Memorandum of Understanding: To collaborate and go everywhere to proclaim the Kingdom of God (Luke 9:60).

Our Vision

To reach 25,000 village pastors with the book “Jesus Kingdom on Earth Today” in collaboration with the National Fellowship of Born-Again Pentecostal Churches in Uganda (NFBPC), according to Luke 9:60 ".

The church in Uganda has been evangelized but not discipled. Bread of Life is collaborating with NFBPC to disciple their leaders through comprehensive training from the leadership training manual “Jesus Kingdom on Earth Today.”.

Goals & Objectives

Core Goals

BOL to travel with NFBPC to 15 Regions, 59 Provinces and reach 202 Districts in order to train, equip and distribute both Training and Equipping Manuals and books to their leaders. The leaders in the districts are encouraged to distribute the books to the village pastors for discipleship in their local churches and schools.

To work with Government leaders to open to all schools in Uganda and provide access to the free PDF books available on the Bread of Life Uganda website.

Welcome to Bread of Life Uganda. Our mandate is clear and urgent: to collaborate with the body of Christ in taking the Kingdom of God to the deepest roots of our nation.

While our beloved nation has experienced tremendous evangelism, there is a critical need for deep, foundational discipleship. We envision a Uganda where every village leader, every pastor, and every believer is thoroughly equipped to establish Jesus' Kingdom practically on Earth today.

Through our comprehensive training manuals and strategic partnerships, we are moving village by village, district by district. I invite you to freely access these resources, equip yourself, and join us in this divine movement of discipleship.
